This page explains how TOMU’S SOUND LIBRARY (“this site”) handles visitor information.
Platform
This site is built on WordPress. As a security measure, it uses “CloudSecure WP Security,” a Japan-based security plugin, to protect the admin dashboard and login page from unauthorized access.
Access Logs
As is standard for websites and hosting environments, basic access information such as IP address, access time and user agent may be recorded as part of the hosting infrastructure and security measures. This is used primarily to keep the site running reliably and to help prevent unauthorized access.

- Favorites: the sounds you save as favorites are stored in your browser’s local storage. Each visitor’s favorites are not recorded on the site operator’s server.

- WordPress’s built-in functionality: cookies are used only to the extent required when an administrator logs in or when a comment is submitted.

Contact Form
The name, email address and message submitted through this site’s Contact page are used solely to respond to your inquiry and are not used for any other purpose. No third-party form service is used; submissions are sent directly by email to the site operator.
Sound Requests
What you send through “Request a Sound” on the top page (the sound you want, how you would use it, a reference URL, and your email address if you enter one) is stored so that only the site operator can see it, and is used as a reference for future recordings. It is not used for any other purpose. To prevent repeated submissions from the same visitor, an identifier made from the IP address is used temporarily for a short time.
Sound Downloads
When a sound is downloaded, an identifier (a hash value) made from information such as the IP address is used temporarily for about 60 seconds, so that repeated downloads by the same visitor in a short time are not counted twice in the download count. It is not used to identify individuals.
