Household Appliances

Household Appliances collects the sounds of home electrical appliances: a washing machine, hair dryer, hair clipper, ventilation fan and electric kettle.

The washing machine is recorded stage by stage, including filling, rinsing and spinning, and a long recording runs from filling through rinsing. The hair dryer comes in strong and weak airflow and a switch between them. The hair clipper has a normal and a weak mode.

They suit everyday scenes in video, indoor moments in games, ASMR and work-time ambience. The long running sounds can be laid under a scene as background.

The sounds were mainly recorded in apartments in Meguro, Tokyo. Models and makers are not documented, so we do not state them.
