Transportation collects the sounds of trains, cars, bicycles, airplanes and buses in Japan. Sounds from its subcategories, Cars and Bicycle, are listed on this page too.

You will find JR Yamanote Line trains passing, airplanes heard along the Yamanote Line, trains heard in Gotanda, cars passing on rainy days and on evening walks, and a ward bus. Sirens of Japanese fire engines and ambulances are also included, and some sounds come with an MP4 video.

They suit city scenes in video, movement and street ambience in games, and background sound for stations and roads.

The sounds were mainly recorded in Meguro and Shinagawa, Tokyo. Because these are recordings of public places, third-party voices and sounds may be included by chance. Our License covers the recordings themselves, which we own, but not third-party material that may be captured by chance. In particular, the fact that sounds related to sirens, warning signals or public transportation are available for download here does not mean they can be used freely or lawfully for every purpose.
