Voice collects recordings of the human voice: Japanese phrases, Kansai-dialect lines, shouts and voice percussion.

The range runs from single Japanese words such as "thank you" to comedy-style Kansai-dialect lines, shouts and voice percussion. Some lines were recorded in both a normal and a high voice, and some sounds are titled as station-announcement lines or a supermarket clerk's lines. Many clips are a single short phrase, and some come as numbered takes.

They suit character reactions, comedy videos, placeholder dialogue for animation and game sound effects. The meaning and nuance of each line are described on its own page, so listen before you choose.

The registered recording place is mainly a soundproof room in Meguro, Tokyo. Before recording, we suggest making a short test take and checking for noise with earphones.
