Heavy Rain Hitting a Fruit Tree | Weather Sound Effect

Recorded on September 21, 2026 at the Shimo-Meguro Apartment in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan, this is the sound of heavy rain hitting a fruit tree. The recording runs about 31 seconds and comes with a vertical (1440 x 2560) video (MP4), so it can be used for vertical-screen video. It is available as MP3, WAV and MP4.

The WAV is 44.1 kHz, 16-bit stereo, with a peak of about -6 dBFS and an average level of about -37 dBFS. It starts without silence, so little trimming is needed.

You can switch between this and “Heavy Rain Hitting a Persimmon Tree,” recorded the same day. If you use the video, play it back to check that what appears on screen suits your scene.
