Thunder & Weather collects the sounds of rain, wind and thunder, and is a subcategory of Nature Sounds.

Rain makes up most of it, and the place the rain lands changes from sound to sound: walks in heavy rain, rain hitting an umbrella, shaking drops off a closed umbrella, autumn rain heard through a window, and rain falling into a trash can. There is also a windy day and thunder recorded during a sudden storm in front of Otori Shrine.

They suit indoor rainy-day scenes, weather effects in games, scene changes and ASMR ambience. You can use where the rain lands, whether on an umbrella, a window or the street, as a guide to choose for your scene.

The recordings were mainly made in Meguro, Tokyo. On this site we also keep sounds heard by chance in streets and parks as a record of those places.
